A personal study platform with adaptive review, configurable tests, progress history, sharing, and portable backups.

Problem

A useful study tool needs more than card flipping: learners need scheduling, varied recall practice, history, and control of their own data.

Outcome

QuizClone combines set authoring, adaptive study, assessment history, controlled sharing, and versioned backup export in one application.

QuizClone architecture

Shared study content flows through database-enforced ownership into several adaptive learning modes.

1. React client: Authoring, flashcards, Learn, Test, and progress views
2. Supabase Auth: Session management and existing-account access
3. PostgreSQL + RLS: Owned and shared sets with row-level authorization
4. Portable backups: Versioned, validated export and restore workflow
